Bulk title and meta description checker
Paste rows from a crawler export or spreadsheet. Every title and description is measured in pixels and checked for duplicates and gaps, right in your browser.
| URL | Title | px | Description | px | Issues |
|---|
Click a row to preview it as a Google result. Limits used: title ~600px at 20px, description ~1,176px (two lines) at 14px. Approximations only.
Working through a site audit
Start with missing and duplicate tags. Duplicates usually come from templates, such as paginated archives, filtered category URLs or a CMS default, and fixing the template fixes hundreds of rows at once. Next handle generic titles like “Home”, which Google often replaces. Truncation comes last: a cut title still ranks, it just shows less.
For one-off pages, the SERP simulator gives device-by-device previews and AI rewrites.
Questions
What format does the bulk checker accept?
CSV, semicolon-separated or tab-separated text with columns for URL, title and description. A header row is detected automatically (column names containing “url”/“address”, “title” and “desc”), so exports from most crawlers work as they are.
Is there a row limit?
The checker handles up to 1,000 rows at a time. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
What counts as an issue?
Missing, duplicate, generic or very short titles; titles wider than about 600px; missing, duplicate or very short descriptions; and descriptions wider than two desktop lines. These are prompts to review, not errors Google penalises.
